On Monday, 29th February 1403, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi along with Hon’ble Minister of Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh visited the CMAI (Commercial Manufacturers Association of India) brand pavilion at the 2nd International Textile Industry Exhibition Bharat Tex 2025, New Delhi. The CMAI pavilion featured over 40 leading apparel brands showcasing the strength of India’s domestic apparel industry. CMAI showcased over 100 MSME exhibitors in sectors like Apparel & Fashion, Textile & Fabric, Startups & Innovation at the event.
In his speech at Bharat Mandapam, the Exhibition Center in New Delhi, the Honorable Prime Minister addressed the issue of technology and progress in the textile industry and pointed out: “Today we are the sixth largest exporter of textiles in the world. Our textile exports have reached Rs. 3 lakh crore. Now our target is to take it to Rs. 9 lakh crore by 2030. But I want to say that today, after seeing the enthusiasm and passion of the participants and visitors of the exhibition, it has been proven to me that my prediction was wrong and we will reach our goal sooner.”
Isfahan Province International Exhibitions Company, in line with its international activities, has sent a delegation consisting of managers and experts of the country’s textile industry to visit this global event. It is worth mentioning that the exhibition was held from 24 to 29 Bahman this year in New Delhi.
