Russian Consul General visits Isfahan Home Appliances Exhibition

On the second day of the Isfahan Home Appliances Exhibition, Andrey Zhiltsov, the Russian Consul General in Isfahan, visited various booths and talked and exchanged views with the exhibitors at the permanent exhibition venue in Isfahan.

He announced the purpose of his visit to examine the capacities of the province and Iran in the home appliance industry and to create the necessary conditions for exporting high-quality products to Russia.

Referring to the low volume of Iranian exports to Russia despite the high quality and variety of Iranian products, Andrey Zhiltsov stated that the most serious obstacles to the development of exports are the lack of awareness of the Russian consumer market about Iranian products, the weakness of the transportation system, and problems related to financial transactions.

From his point of view, the price, quality, and good variety of Iranian products are the most important advantages in competing with Chinese and Turkish goods in the Russian market.

Isfahan Exhibition Company intends to hold specialized seminars and conferences in cooperation with the Russian Consulate General in Isfahan to introduce Iran’s capacities with the aim of expanding its presence in the Russian consumer market.
